Jetsetter: East Asia

Over my winter break I spent two weeks vacationing in Thailand, Malaysia and India. I would have to say my favorite destination was Bangkok, Thailand. The shopping was amazing! I will definitely be visiting Thailand again. Inshallah! My least favorite was India. I did get to visit the Taj Mahal but I would recommend to anyone that visits Agra, India (home of Taj) to go during any other season other than winter (we endured a lot of fog and was not able to see the magnificent itself ) and to book a tour bus from New Delhi. Traveling Tip...While you are India..watch out for the spider monkeys (literally).

Elephant Village (Pattaya, Thailand)

I indulged in a traditional Thai performance. These were two of the performers. (Bangkok, Thailand)

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. This market is the most photographed destination in Thailand....hence America's Next Top Model cycle 6  photo shoot (Ratchaburi, Thailand)

Happy New Years! (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

Taj Mahal. As you enter the gates you are given white covers for you shoes. You must either enter the Taj Mahal barefoot or your shoes must be covered. (Agra, India)

Doesn't it look like our elephant is smiling for the camera. It was an amazing ride through the jungle.

Juhu Beach. Lets just say I miss my south beach. (Mumbai, India)

Some of the best hair extensions in the world are purchased in Thailand. (Bangkok, Thailand)

Street Sushi,,,Yummy! (Bangkok, Thailand)

Bangkok, Thailand

One of the gates at the palace of His Highness. (Bangkok, Thailand)

Tut Tuts

Our South Korean friends at the Taj Mahal

It was a foggy day at the Taj Mahal. This is the best picture I have. Yes that small smudge is me : )

Inside the Taj Mahal. Look at the beautiful white marble.

LOOK CLOSELY! Yes, there are wild spider monkeys EVERYWHERE! I think there are more monkeys than people in Agra.

Petronas Towers. The tallest twin towers in the world. They held the record for the tallest buildings in the world from 1998-2004  (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
