Serengeti Safari
I have always wanted to go on an African Safari and hunt the great African Cats. Last month I had a great opportunity to go on a 3 day safari to the Masai Mara reserve located in the south western region of Kenya. It is the northern continuation of the Serengeti National park in Tanzania. We stayed at the beautiful Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
The Masai Mara reserve is famous for its exceptional population of Big Cats, game, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest from the Serengeti every year from July to October, a migration so immense that it is called the Great Migration !
This experience was by far one of the most memorable. I highly suggest you add this to your bucket list.
Xoxo
The Jetsetter
Headed out to the reserve on a 20 passenger plane.
Going on an afternoon game drive
The King of the Jungle "Simba"
Mr. Cheetah "The Fastest land animal in the world "
Breakfast in the bush on the Mara river
Mara Men
We visited a village located on the reserve
The view from the hotel pool
The Black rhino...one of the most dangerous animals in the world
